Deutsch-österreichische Produktion gewinnt
in San Sebastians WIP-Sektion
Großartiger Erfolg für eine Produktion, bei der ich als Editor mitgewirkt habe.
Tatjana Moutchniks Drama „Sieben Tage Februar“ wurde beim Filmfestival in San Sebastian in der Industry-Sektion gleich mit zwei Preisen bedacht. Wood Water Films produziert mit der Wiener Wega Film die Geschichte zweier ukrainischen Brüder, die sich in Deutschland wiedersehen, um ihre verstorbene Mutter zu trauern, während der Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine startet. Die aus der Ukraine stammende Moutchnik legt nach Kurzfilmen damit ihr Langspielfilmdebüt als Regisseurin und Drehbuchautorin vor. Ihr Projekt erhält die dem europäischen Kino gewidmeten Work-in-Progress-Preise.
